Things are going well. I can't really say great, yet, because I still have a ton to learn about how Amazon develops software as well as my specific project, and because my family is still in Texas. My family should be up on July 24th, and my car arrived this morning. We sold the house (fantastic timing), so it looks as if everything is on track. The weather in Seattle is fantastic, the city is pretty, and so far I would have to say Amazon is even better than I expected it to be. This weekend I'm going to go hiking in one of the national parks. I'm excited. How are things there? Hey man, it’s good to hear from you!

The purpose of this Thing is to let people advertise their talents and help them organize with other people to start a project that uses their talents. This is not the normal project management suite; the intent is to let you come to the site with either an idea for a project or a talent+time, and find the other people you need to turn what you have into a profit.
