  • Aldiko – free book reader
  • Google anything – all the Google apps are good
  • Flash, if you’re running 2.2
  • RoboDefense is fun
  • Pandora for music
  • LivoPro is a good voice recorder
  • MapDroyd if you want maps that are available when you have no internet connection
  • ColorNotes – a post-it note app
  • Advanced Task Manager – to shut down apps that are taking up too many resources (rarely necessary, but handy for when you need to)
  • Compass
  • Advanced Ruler
  • Bubble (a level app)
  • c:geo – a geocaching ap
  • Zombie, Run! – cute game-ish thing
  • Labyrinth Lite – maze ball thingy
  • Hangman
  • Abduction – beam cows up to your alien spaceship
  • Movies – the best “what’s playing” app I’ve found
  • Discovery – discovery channel videos
  • NPR News
  • Cubed – the best music app I’ve found

I haven’t found many games/fun apps that I really enjoyed.  I loved Plants vs Zombies on the iPhone – I want to see an Android game that I can get addicted to!
